I attended the monthly breakfast meeting of the rather new special networking event called the TBN B2B (Business to Business) MAX, with 60 attendees held at IKEA on August 18th. The event started with breakfast and open networking. Then all formed a big circle to present their brief 15 second commercials. The balance of the time was spent in a facilitated preassigned group of 8, who may be good referral partners. Various questions were asked around the type of clients you’re looking for, their needs, and how your referral partners might help you grow your business. All are expected to document an action plan, set up 1:1′s with group members, and turn in action sheets at the next event.
